Ken Hom Annual Lecture
Cherie Blair will reflect on the value of social entrepreneurship in transforming the lives of those in developing nations. This lecture forms part of a series organised by Oxford Gastronomica: The Centre for Food, Drink and Culture, based within Oxford Brookes University’s Department of Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism Management.

Cherie Blair, founder of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is involved with over 20 charities working with women, children and with those based on Merseyside. She is Honorary Vice-President of Barnardos, President of the Loomba Trust, Ambassador for Scope and Patron of others including Breast Cancer Care. Cherie is also a leading barrister specialising in public law, human rights, employment and European Community law, arbitration and mediation.
