Marilynne Robinson is one of the world’s most acclaimed novelists and intellectuals. She is the author of three extraordinary novels, considered American classics – Housekeeping, Gilead and Home. These works have garnered much critical acclaim, with Gilead winning the Pulitzer Prize in 2005, and Home the Orange Prize in 2009. Robinson has also written non-fiction works, published by Yale University Press, which are the author’s take on the philosophy of religion, acclaimed by Karen Armstrong as ‘Prophetic, profound, eloquent, powerful and timely’.
