Andrew MacKenzie joined the Bryant Group in 1957 as a management trainee. The following 39 years saw his rise through the ranks, culminating in his appointment as Group Chief Executive in 1992. His responsibility for reorganising the Group’s housing activities began in 1988; by the mid-1990s he had succeeded in doubling the number of homes being built and firmly established the Bryant Group as one of the largest house builders in the UK.
