Ann McPherson has been a GP in Oxford since 1979, during which time she has become an expert on the health of adolescents and women. A champion of using innovative means to provide better information to adolescents, she co-authored Diary of a teenage health freak; a series of books which has sold more than half a million copies and been translated into 22 languages.
