After a successful career in the armed forces, Dr Charles Mould entered higher education with the former Oxford Polytechnic in 1971. Initially appointed as Administrator, Charles became Registrar in 1978. In 1980 he moved on to become Secretary of the Bodleian Library, University of Oxford, a post from which he retired in 1995.
