Charlotte Uhlenbroek

A renowned primatologist, Charlotte Uhlenbroek is well known for her work with the BBC and has achieved significant success in exploring and raising awareness of ecology and primate behaviour. Between the ages of 5-14 Charlotte lived in Kathmandu, Nepal where her love of animals developed.
This interest was furthered by taking a degree in Zoology and Psychology and a PhD in Zoology. After university she spent four years in Gombe, Tanzania studying chimpanzees, which resulted in her first appearance on screen. In addition to her work with the BBC Charlotte has written several articles for newspapers and magazines and supports a number of organisations in the conservation field.
