Chloe Fisher worked in Oxford as a community-based midwife for 35 years, and spent a further six years as a clinical specialist in infant feeding. Today, though officially retired, Chloe continues to give her services to the breast-feeding clinic, on a voluntary basis, for two days a week. A renowned expert on breastfeeding, she continued to lecture until recently, with the last three tours taking place in South Africa, Abu Dhabi and Athens. The third edition of Chloe's popular book Bestfeeding, co-written with Professor Mary Renfrew, was published in 2004.
