Chris Wilkinson is a distinguished architect, author, and educator. He is the principal and founder of Wilkinson Eyre Architects, the only practice to have won the Stirling Prize for two consecutive years. They first received the prize for their design of the Magna Science Centre in Rotherham, and then for their creative masterpiece: the Gateshead Millennium Bridge. Their high profile portfolio ranges from the Dyson Headquarters in Wiltshire to the Guangzhou Twin Towers in China. Chris is known for his unique approach to architectural design which combines a lifelong interest in art with a fascination of science and technological innovation.
He was elected a Royal Academician in 2007 and is also an Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
