Chunhua Song

Chuhua Song is the President of China Institute of Real Estate Appraisers.

He began his career in 1966 with a degree from Qinghua University in Beijing, and qualified as Senior Architect at the China Institute of Architecture.

He promised then that he would devote his knowledge and skills to the people of China. Mr Song has carried through that commitment for 40 years, advancing the interests of the public through his architectural practice, roles in municipal and provincial government agencies and at the Ministry of Construction.

Chunhua is a writer and researcher too, publishing a string of important books and papers on urban planning, the quality of construction, modernising the Chinese housing industry and, most recently, on the symbiotic relationship between a historical and cultural city, and an international metropolis.
