Danby Bloch

After eight years as a governor of Oxford Brookes, Danby Bloch took over as Chair of the Board of Governors, a role in which he provided invaluable service to the University during a period of rapid development. On retiring from the post in 2004, he took on the role of Pro-Chancellor of the University. A financial publisher by profession, Danby founded the company Taxbriefs Ltd in 1974. The company's activities include the publication of web-based learning materials for financial advisers, materials currently accessed by around 10,000 users.
