David Fickling

David Fickling is a children’s book editor and publisher. In 1999 he formed his own imprint David Fickling Books, based in Oxford, the imprint is now based with Random House and publishes about a dozen titles per year across three continents. In 2004 he received the British Book Award for Editor of the year and two books published by David have gone on to win the prestigious overall Whitbread Book Award.
His latest venture is the launching of the first weekly children’s comic to be published in the UK for 30 years featuring a colourful mix of brand new strips which he hopes will transform the world of reading in the UK.
