David Potter is founder and Chairman of the microcomputer systems company Psion plc. Founded in 1980, Psion was launched on the London Stock Exchange in 1988 and over the next ten years saw an average compound growth rate of 33%, with the majority of its sales in export markets. David was awarded the CBE in 1997 for services to the manufacturing industry. From 2003-2009 David served on the Board of the Bank of England as a non-Executive Director.
