David Tweedie has said, 'Accounting isn't rocket science' It is simply telling investors what's there, not what you want to be there.' After he was appointed to chair the Accounting Standards Board, and restore global accounting standards, chief executives accused him of ruining the game. The Scotsman newspaper called him 'the most hated accountant in Britain.' His commitment resulted in the Accounting Standards Board gaining universal acceptance.
