Herman Ouseley held the post of Chairman of the Commission for Racial Equality ( CRE) between 1993 and 2000. Despite the years of continuous budget restrictions under his leadership the CREs work achieved a high profile and its wide-ranging public awareness campaigns won numerous awards and international acclaim. Lord Ouseley remains an active equality and fair treatment campaigner as well as conducting organisational reviews. In addition, provides advice to individuals and institutions on leadership and management development.
