Sir Idris Pearce

A graduate, and honorary fellow, of the College of Estate Management, he began his career with Richard Ellis in 1959. He became a partner of the practice in 1961, and was Managing Partner between 1980 and 1987. Sir Idris has also held a wide range of appointments in the public sector, primarily relating to development and regeneration, and acted as an adviser to many government departments.
In 1991 he was President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Chair of English Industrial Estates, and a member of both the Universities Funding Council and the Foreign Office Overseas Estate Advisory Group.
