Joanna Lumley is one of Britain’s best-loved actresses, known particularly for her television roles as Purdey in The New Avengers and the ageing model Patsy in Absolutely Fabulous. Joanna has also appeared in films and on the stage in a range of contemporary and classical plays, and written several books, including an autobiography Stare Back and Smile. She was awarded an OBE in 1995.
