Miriam Stoppard is one of the UK’s best known experts on pregnancy and birth. She has more than thirty years experience as a doctor, businesswoman, writer and broadcaster. She studied medicine at the Universities of London and Durham and began her medical career at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. She then became Managing Director of the medical pharmaceutical company, Syntex, whilst also establishing herself as one of the most respected medical voices in Britain. She has published more than 80 books, and has set up her own company to extend her philosophy into products and services.
