Myra Bennett

A former student counsellor at Oxford Brookes, Myra Bennett worked for the University for over 20 years. During that time she founded and co-ordinated Upper Thames Valley Counsellors. Myra has published a wide range of material in her field and began counselling in private practice in 1993.
Since then she has researched and produced the booklet "Seventy-four Christian experiences: A comparative study of experiences from four different traditions," which was published by the Religious Experience Research Centre. Myra has enrolled on many Oxford Univeresity Continuing Education Department weekly courses and finds Brookes' library useful for writing the required essay.s
Finally she has enjoyed being a grandmother and has used her retirement to travel widely especially in the Middle East.
