Pamela Morison Inches

Pamela Morison Inches was a former secretary of the Institute of Brewing, to which she gave over 30 years’ service before retiring in 1969. In memory of her late husband John Morison Inches she established the J&J Morison Education Trust to support the training of students in the brewing industry. The Trust  provided postgraduate scholarships at Oxford Brookes.  In her eighties, Pamela designed and made cushions for the choir stalls in Bury St Edmunds Cathedral - and also took commissions for commemorative cushions.

Pamela was a great supporter of the university, in particular the School of Life Sciences.  She sadly died in April 2007.
