Philip Randle

Sir Philip Randle was founding Professor and Chairman (1964-1975) of the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Bristol, and then founding Professor and Chairman (1975-1993) of the Department of Clinical Biochemistry at Oxford University. He has served as a senior member of a number of professional societies, including the Royal Society, of which he was Vice President (1988-89), and the Biochemical Society, of which he is a former President (1995-2000).

Philip died in 2006.
