Robert Ross
Year conferred: 1997
In the 1960s Robert Ross worked on two innovative town planning projects – the Manchester Rapid Transit Study and South Hampshire Structure Plan – before joining Oxford Brookes University in 1971 as a Lecturer in Planning. After nine years in the role Robert decided to retrain in counselling. He went on to spend a further 17 years with the University, during which time he worked in Student Services, developing and leading the University’s highly rated Careers Service.
Robert died in 2008.
