Victor Adebowale started his career as a local authority housing officer. In a remarkable progression, he is now chief executive of the national charity Turning Point; was one of the first group appointed as People’s Peers in 2001, and was awarded the CBE in 2000 for services to the unemployed and homeless young people. Turning Point is the UK’s leading social care organisation, providing help for people with complex needs.
