Guardian article from award winning scientist
Dr Anne Osterrieder, who was recently awarded the Society for Experimental Biology’s (SEB) prestigious President’s Medal in recognition for her work in increasing public understanding of biology, has authored an article for the Guardian.
In the article, entitled How should researchers talk about science to the public?, Dr Osterrieder discusses how researchers and academics can make their work more accessible.

Dr Anne Osterrieder is postdoctoral research assistant in plant cell biology and an outreach coordinator for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Oxford Brookes. One of Dr Osterrieder’s outreach videos, The Vacuole Song, can be viewed below.
