National survey shows students give University top ratings

A new nationwide survey released today shows students at Oxford Brookes are overwhelmingly happy with the quality of their university experience.

The second National Student Satisfaction Survey measures the opinions of 170,000 final-year students at universities and higher education colleges across the UK.

Overall 84% of Brookes students said they were satisfied with their University experience. Brookes students rated the quality of the Library and IT resources and the personal help they get to develop their communication skills and confidence as the strongest features of the learning experience at Oxford Brookes.

In individual subject areas, Brookes performed especially well in Education and Biological Sciences – where the University is rated in the top 15% of all universities in the country.

The University’s Department of Architecture was rated 5th overall when compared with other UK universities.
