BROOKESbus
The BROOKESbus network links all the main University sites including Halls of Residence) to Oxford city centre and the train station. BROOKESbus is a partnership between Oxford Brookes University and Oxford Bus Company. Students and staff are entitled to discounts on the BROOKESbus. Students and staff that hold a Brookeskey are also entitled to discounts on Oxford Bus Company services.

Oxford Bus Company operate many services in and around Oxford:
- City: local buses within Oxford
- Park & Ride
- X90 between Oxford and London
- Airline from Oxford to Heathrow LHR and Gatwick LGW

Stagecoach in Oxfordshire also operate many services in and around Oxford, including the Oxford Tube between Oxford and London.

Other bus services
Check the time of your bus online or from your mobile phone
The Oxontime website gives realtime information on Oxford bus services. You can also get the information sent to your mobile phone. Here's what to do:
- Find the number of the stop you want. They are written on the stops themselves, or you can find them on the Oxontime website by searching the service number - just type in your service number to get a stop list for that route and codes appear alongside the bus stop names. You can then save them on your phone.
- Text the code to TIMES (84637) and within a few seconds you receive a message containing real time bus arrival information.
Outward texts are charged at Standard Network Rate, and the return text will cost a maximum of 12p.
Season tickets and discount passes
Season tickets and discount passes can be bought from Gipsy Lane - contact transport@brookes.ac.uk or call 01865 484647 with any queries.
Interest Free Season ticket loans of up to £2000 are also available for staff to help spread the cost over 12 months. Terms and conditions and an application form are available on the intranet or transport@brookes.ac.uk.
