Working with the University's Graduate School Committees: Research Degrees Sub-Committee, its Sub-Committees and the Recruitment and Marketing Advisory Group, the Graduate Office is responsible for developing regulations and procedures for postgraduate provision at Oxford Brookes.

What we do

In support of the University's Graduate School, we oversee the implementation of postgraduate policies and regulations and offer guidance to enrolled students; staff delivering the programmes and external bodies. We also provide support for the development of postgraduate taught courses, including promotional activities associated with ensuring candidates are aware of the broad range of taught courses and opportunities offered by the University.

The Graduate Office organises all university wide Graduate School supervisor training, research student induction and generic skills training programmes.

Working with the Recruitment and Marketing Working Group, the Graduate Office is responsible for promoting postgraduate activities related to the courses we offer; co-ordinating taught course entries for the postgraduate prospectus; attending external Postgraduate fairs and organising the university’s Postgraduate fairs which are held four times each year.

Where to find us

We are situated in Room B2.01, on the second floor of the Buckley Building at the Gipsy Lane site. The Buckley Building can be accessed from the entrance on the London Road and is the first building to the left of the entrance.
