PhD Santander Scholarships 2012-13
This year three awards of £5,000 are available for UK, EU or International students starting their programmes in September 2012. Successful applicants will also receive a further 10% discount on their tuition fees from Oxford Brookes.
Funding is offered to students who are graduating from or who have graduated from named universities in the UK, Argentina, Brazil. Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Spain, Portugal, Russia, the United States, China, Germany, Singapore, Poland and Belgium. The scholarship fund aims to reward the most academically gifted students from these institutions.
To apply you must be:
- studying at, or a graduate from, a university in the Santander Universidades Scheme
- have a good UK bachelor honours degree (2.1) or equivalent degree from your home country
- be a new student on the research degree programme starting in September 2012
- be in possession of a formal offer letter for aplace on the research degree programme at Oxford Brookes University for entry in September 2012.

Applications (including references) must be received by midnight on Tuesday 31 July 2012.
