Brookes education student receives innovative teaching grant
Rebecca Kitchen from Aylesbury High School has received an innovative teaching grant for the Royal Geographical Society with IBG.The proposal to use video technology in Geography fieldwork was underpinned by her research for both the 'School Based Enquiry' and 'Provision for Gifted and Talented' in her Certificate of Advanced Educational Practice (CAEP) modules.
As part of her grant Rebecca is required to share her findings with the wider geographical community and has to date submitted an article to 'Teaching Geography' and has been interviewed for 'Geographical Magazine'. Rebecca was a student on the school-based PG CAEP last academic year.
