Overview of what we do

The Cleaning team provide a cleaning service for all Schools and Directorates. They ensure that campuses remain a clean and pleasant environment so that services around the University can be delivered to a high standard.

Services we offer

• Specified general cleaning
• Wash room supplies and replenishment
• Window Cleaning
• Sanitary Hygiene provision

Our service standards

The cleaning service is provided in conjunction with University specification of procedures and standards, which provide frequencies for cleaning and flexibility of our service.  We also work to the high standards set out in the service level agreement set by our directorate. Request for cleaning outside these times can be arranged but may incur a cost charge.

Current cleaning frequencies are as follows:

• Washrooms – daily
• Common room/tea rooms – daily
• Offices – weekly
• Classroom – daily
• Lecture Theatres – daily
• Corridors/stairs – daily
• Waste removal - daily
