Emergency response
In an Emergency dial the emergency number for your campus.
Dial 999-if you contact the emergency services direct you must also contact Campus Services to ensure prompt and timely response from the Emergency Services that will go direct to Campus Services at the Main Gipsy Lane Entrance.
Campus Services will in the event of an emergency situation provide:
- Immediate response to the incident eg Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm, Fire etc

Immediate response to disable toilet alarms (The support from you: Notification of the alarm sounding with an exact location)

Request assistance from the emergency services as required

Assist in any evacuation of buildings

Cordon the scene if appropriate

Protect the scene as appropriate

Liaise with the emergency services as required

Escort the emergency services as required
- Assist the Police and/or other investigating service as appropriate.
The support from you is that we need; accurate and timely information of the following:
- Location of the incident
- Nature of the incident
- Extent of the incident
- Whether persons are in danger
- Contact details
