Grounds maintenance

Overview

The grounds maintenance team look after all the grounds and gardens, currently over 190 acres, of our campus. We ensure the presentation and upkeep of the grounds, making our university a beautiful environment in which to study, work and live.

Grounds maintenance responsibilites

The grounds maintenance team are responsible for the following;

• grass and hedge cutting including field areas and lawn areas
• landscaping, including flower beds and shrubberies
• tree preservation, wildlife and habitat preservation
• sports maintenance, including cricket square and golf course
• adverse weather response
