Focus Groups: Department Meeting for Staff One way to develop the early momentum and generate ideas in a department is to hold a 'focus group' to explore staff perceptions of teaching /research relations in their department. Clearly these can focus down on particular discipline issues e.g. the use of laboratories in science, or on more generic issues. These guidelines were developed as part of Project LINK on teaching /relations in four Built Environment departments: http://www.brookes.ac.uk/schools/planning/LTRC/documents/reports/FGBrieftemp.htm |
