Brookes alumna, Dr Alice Nuttall, to present seminar about Alice in Wonderland

Alice Nuttall

Dr Alice Nuttall, who completed her PhD at Oxford Brookes University in 2015 on the subject of Fur, Fangs and Feathers: Colonial and counter-colonial portrayals of American Indians in young adult fantasy literature, will give a talk as part of the St Clare’s Seminar Series on Wednesday 2 November.

Alice is an English Literature researcher who has taught on the Children's Literature course at St Clare's, Oxford, and is currently teaching a research skills module in Global Issues for foundation year students, which she teaches through the medium of Harry Potter. Her research is based around post-colonialism and the Gothic in children's literature.

Her talk will be Down the Rabbitholes: Alice in Wonderland – Impact and Adaptations, in the Dining Room of 3 Bardwell Road, St. Clare’s, Oxford at 5.00pm. No booking is required, and all are welcome to attend.
