Poetry Centre in creative writing collaboration with Oxford-based mental health charity

Dr Eóin Flannery, Reader in Irish Literature and Director of the Oxford Brookes Poetry Centre, spoke on BBC Radio Oxford on Thursday 30 January about the Poetry Centre's ongoing creative writing collaboration with the Oxford-based mental health charity, The Archway Foundation. Eóin introduced the community-related outreach history of the Poetry Centre, and outlined how the Centre will provide creative writing workshops for users of the Archway Foundation services across March and April. The creative writing produced will be showcased at events during Oxford Arts Week, and will also be presented at the Oxford Brookes/Pegasus Theatre OutBurst Festival on Saturday 10 May 2014. The collaboration with the Archway Foundation will also include one event as part of the Poetry Centre's planned series of events to mark National Poetry Day in October of this year.
