Undergraduate entry requirements
Academic qualifications
Qualifications that fulfil the entry requirements for undergraduate degrees include:
- a recognised foundation programme
- A-levels, AS-levels or Vocational A-levels
- International Baccalaureate
- European Baccalaureate
If you have a high school diploma or school leaving certificate, then you may first need to complete a foundation course before you can study an undergraduate degree in the UK.

English language requirements
If English is not your main language then you will also need to show that your English is at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

English language courses
If you do not meet the English language requirements our University English course is available throughout the year. You may be able to apply for one visa to cover both courses.
This course will also help familiarise you with university life, our study facilities and teaching methods before starting your degree.
