Our international foundation courses improve your study skills, use of academic English, and subject knowledge to prepare you for a wide range of bachelor's degrees.
Once you enrol, you are guaranteed a place on an Oxford Brookes University bachelor's degree, if you pass the foundation with appropriate grades. You can take a detached International Foundation Diploma that offers flexibility at the end of the course, or an integrated foundation combined with a specific degree.
We can help you apply for further study at Oxford Brookes or at another university during your course and we will advise you of your best study options.
If you have fewer than 13 years of school with a high school diploma or school leaving certificate you will usually need to take a foundation course before taking a degree in the UK. See our entry requirements from your country to see if you should take a foundation. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss how a foundation can get you on to your bachelor's degree.
You will also take modules to improve your language, research and critical thinking skills, and learn about inter-cultural communication in a truly international environment.
Information on entry requirements, tuition fees, progression options, course content and more can be found by clicking on each foundation course below:
These two semester (24-week) foundation courses enable automatic progression to your undergraduate degree and require just one combined application and one visa for the entire period of undergraduate study.
Apply directly to our international admissions team using our online application form.
International (non-EU) students with an offer to study an international foundation course can apply for one of our £2,000 Richard Haill International Scholarships.
