Leisure time
A big part of student life in the UK is meeting new people and relaxing with friends.
Here at Brookes we have plenty of places for you to take a break from work.
The campuses are filled with bars, cafes, and food outlets so there are plenty of places for you to meet up with friends, have fun and socialise.
We even organise regular cultural events, like theatre visits and traditional dance evenings, to help you experience life in the UK. Our events are a great way of meeting other students from across the University.
The Students’ Union (SU) is at the centre of the University’s social scene and there are around 70 different societies you can join, including various international student clubs like the Japanese society or the Hellenic society. Our student societies cater for a wide of interests, from snow sports to salsa dancing, so you can meet new people and experience something different.
Playing sport is a great way to relax and joining one of our 40 Sports Clubs will also introduce you to other people at Brookes.
