Accommodation
We understand that finding somewhere safe and comfortable to live is very important, especially if you are coming to the UK for the first time.
We can offer self-catering accommodation throughout the Summer Programme in the university’s Clive Booth hall of residence subject to availability. The hall is a ten-minute walk from the main campus. A self-service laundry is available on site.
Phone and data lines are available in the bedrooms. If you hold an offer for a place at Oxford Brookes University you will be able to use the Hallnet service for a small charge. This enables you to use your own PC for email, and to access the internet and university intranet.
The kitchens are shared communal areas for all students in the apartment (usually five or six students). There are food shops and supermarkets near the halls of residence and we arrange a shuttle bus to a large supermarket every week, free of charge. During the day you can buy breakfast and light meals on the main campus. There are also many restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the halls of residence and in Oxford city centre.
