What's on at Brookes?
Brookes Youth Summer University
Year 10 and 12 students took part in ten taster sessions at Oxford Brookes University.
Activities included filming and editing a short film and creating a marketing plan for a new brand of drink.

World of Work
This year 9 event brought together employees from companies like the BBC and Microsoft to explain the importance of studying a language at GCSE and beyond.
Work Experience Placements
Year 10 students have come to find out about working at Oxford Brookes University in various different jobs roles such as marketing, recruitment and administration.
Science challenge

Students taking part in the 2010 science challenge
A science-based competition for students in Year 9. Students competed in teams at their schools, with the winning teams going forward to the finals held during Science Week in March.
Passport Days
A full day of interactive workshops for Year 10 students that gives basic advice and guidance about Higher Education and possible progression routes.
Open Days
Students interested in studying at Oxford Brookes University can visit an Open Day. Held 3 times a year, the open days are a great opportunity to check out the university.
