Where can I use EndNote?
There are two versions of EndNote:
- EndNote desktop is a software version. It is available:
On pooled computer room and Library network PCs
EndNote has been installed on the University network. It is available for any member of the university to use (on pooled room or Library network PCs) to create their own library. All students can take advantage of the software in preparing their course work and dissertations.

For staff and researchers on Brookes computers
The Library's EndNote licence allows for installation of the software on any University owned equipment, so staff and researchers can have it added to their office PCs.
If you want EndNote installed on your office computer, please contact your own Faculty/Department IT Technician or Academic Computing Officer. We recommend that you ask for the latest version to be installed.
System requirements for different versions of EndNote are available on the Technical Support section of the EndNote Web site.
