Digimap training
Digimap is an online service that allows you to view and create maps of any location in England, Scotland and Wales, using Ordnance Survey map data.
Training sessions at Headington Library
These are offered, during semester time, for all interested staff and students. Each session includes:
- Using the basic Digimap Roam service to search for a map, change scales, change the features displayed, and print out your map.
- Using the advanced Digimap Carto service to define the geographic area of your map, control scale and map content, and print your map.
- Using Historic, Geology and Marine Digimap service (if required)

Week 3 Friday 17 February - 12.00 - 13.00
Week 4 Tuesday 21 February - 16.00 - 17.00
Week 5 Wednesday 29 February - 12.00 - 13.00
Week 6 Thursday 8 March - 16.00 - 17.00
All sessions take place in the Library Training Room. Booking is essential, as space is limited - please come to the Library Enquiry Desk, or telephone 01865 483156, to do this.
It is also important that you register as a Digimap user before the session and instructions are available at the Enquiry Desk and also on the Digimap Information and Registration Library web page.
