Your Subject Librarians for Health and Social Care

Each School or academic discipline has its own Subject Librarian who answers enquiries, teaches information skills, orders library stock and generally looks after the library needs of the students and staff in their subject area. 

Your Subject Librarians for Health and Social Care are:

Alison Owen (Subject Librarian) looks after subjects in the Department of Social Work and Public Health and Palliative and Cancer Care. She works part time: all day Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Catherine Lidbetter (Assistant Subject Librarian) looks after subjects in the Department of Sports and Health Sciences: Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy and the Foundation Degrees and Paramedic Practice. She works part-time: Tuesday and Wednesday all day and Thursday 10:00 - 13:30.

Ros Dobson (Assistant Subject Librarian) looks after subjects in the Department of Clinical Health Care: Adult Nursing (Oxford and Swindon), ODP, Advanced Practice and Nursing and Care Specialities. She works full-time.
