• Intute: Virtual Training Suite : a range of subject-based tutorials on how to get the best from the internet for education and research
• Researcher's Companion : an online tutorial in information retrieval skills aimed at postgraduate students. This has been developed jointly by staff at the University Library, University of Surrey and Information Services at the University of Surrey Roehampton
• Sink or swim (Loughborough University) : a guide to how to search the internet using search engines and directories. Includes comparisons of search engines and guidance on how to form a search strategy
• Tonic - the online Netskills interactive course : offers step-by-step, practical guidance on major internet topics, ranging from basic through to advanced. The tutorial is free to use but you need to register your own personal ID
• Walt's Navigating the Net Forum : includes a brief introduction to Evaluating quality on the internet
