Welcome to the Media Workshop
We are the first University-wide port of call for Oxford Brookes staff using learning technologies to enhance their teaching and research. Through this site we will keep you up to date with all our activities as well as providing an archive of online resources and documentation in support of our day-to-day work.
Based within the Learning Resources directorate, the Media Workshop is a staff support unit with an extensive remit. We provide technical support, training and resources for staff who are making use of the Brookes Virtual Learning Environment to enhance delivery of new and existing teaching and learning programmes. We also provide a wide-ranging graphics and photographic support service for teaching and research in the University, covering anything from location photography to in-house academic journals.
The Media Workshop team is made up of graphic designers, learning technologists, web designers and technical staff. Working closely with OCSLD (the University’s staff development centre), Media Workshop staff, advise on good practice in teaching and research using information and communications technology (ICT).
The Media Workshop is located in M112 and M113 in the Media Centre on the Headington campus.
Open: 9.00am - 5.00pm.
