The Department of Nursing at Oxford Brookes is proud to be part of the Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery
We provide the opportunity to study Adult, Children's or Mental Health nursing, or a combination of two of these through our dual registration courses. Our undergraduate and postgraduate pre-registration courses lead to professionally recognised nursing qualifications enabling you to take your first steps towards a rewarding career in nursing.
Our students enjoy a diverse range of placements in internationally renowned hospitals and community settings, including Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, a world renowned centre of clinical excellence and one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the UK.
For those further on in their career, we offer the Return to Practice course – a route back into nursing for those who would like to renew their registration; and through the Oxford Institute of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Research we offer a Professional Doctorate in Nursing and various exciting PhD opportunities.
