THE OXFORD IN EUROPE ASSOCIATION

If your European Organisation would like a link with Oxford the Oxford in Europe Association may be able to help you.



Its members can advise on matters such as potential sources for funding, local contacts, exchange partners and social events.

The Oxford in Europe Association aims:

  1. to promote greater European awareness and involvement
  2. to stimulate an increased European dimension in:

The Association includes members representing Business, Technology, Twinning Associations, Local Authorities and Education.

The Association achieves its aims through:

Since 1946 Oxford has been involved in twinning links with continental Europe. Through twinning, many people in the city have forged closer relationships with their counterparts in Leiden (Netherlands), Bonn (Germany), Grenoble (France), Leon (Nicaragua) and Perm (Russia). Building on and responding to the growing awareness of a wider Europe, the Oxford in Europe Association was formed in 1991.
