Psychology at Oxford Brookes has an excellent reputation for providing research-led and student-centred teaching. Psychology is the study of the human mind, and how and why we behave the way we do. Within our purpose-built department featuring state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories, we provide a wide range of courses and research degrees to develop your learning, and give you a solid grounding in empirical methods, theories and discoveries.
On 13th June, alcohol researchers from across the UK attended the inaugral Alcohol Research Mixer at Headington Hill Hall. The event, organised by Dr Emma Davies from the Department of Psychology, Social Work and Public Health at Oxford Brookes, was designed to foster future collaborative work in the alcohol and health field.
Dr Astrid Schloerscheidt has been appointed as the new Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Oxford Brookes University and takes on the role from 30 May 2017.
