Since the last workshop in 1997, exciting new clinical results using stable solutions of free L-glutamine or glutamine dipeptides have been published. It is the purpose of this fourth Glutamine Workshop to present an up-to-date review of current knowledge of the varied biological roles played by glutamine and of some of the on-going research with parenteral or enteral glutamine supplementation.
The programme is aimed at a multi-disciplinary audience of clinical scientists, pharmacists, dieticians and other health-care professionals involved in nutritional support.
