Details of my research

Spatial planning responses to climate change. She is currently involved in a study for the UK government on Adaptation Responses to Climate Change for New Development in the Growth Areas (with Land Use Consultants and CAG Consultants). She is a member of the EPSRC-funded consortium, led by the University of Manchester, researching Adaptation to Climate Change in the Urban Environment, in which Oxford Brookes is focusing on human thermal comfort in the external environment. She is also working on BRANCH, a European project, reviewing the role of spatial policies in assisting biodiversity adaptation to climate change in the UK, Netherlands and France, and is contributing to the current revision of the England Biodiversity Strategy to examine how the urban development sector can take account of climate change.
