Urban design; urban regeneration; public consultation; eco-tourism; community developments; historic towns; place-identity; aesthetic control; urban design and public art; sustainable urban design.
Recent projects include: identity by design; community development; pedagogic research; new towns; and the rehabilitation of historic centres.
Her teaching package for A-level geography students, Making Better Places, won the Geographical Association's silver medal.
